Longer Experience · guided Vespa tour
The Mountains of Vall de Laguar
Our longer mountain route: quiet roads, stone terraces, three mountain villages and wide open views.
This Experience is for anyone who likes to spend a little longer on the Vespa. We ride into the Vall de Laguar and follow the winding mountain road past Campell, Fleix and Benimaurell. Along the way the landscape keeps changing: old terraces, rugged rock faces, small villages and one new view after another.
We take our time, stop wherever it is beautiful and ride at a relaxed pace. After a few hours on the finest roads of the interior we head back along a route that is just as varied.

More about where this ride goes
-
START
Monte Pego, helmets and a practice round
A slightly longer practice round today, because the roads ahead have more corners than usual.
-
FIRST STOP
Coffee and honey at a true local family business
A family business that has been working in the Marina Alta for some eighty years. We meet the beekeeper, taste local honey and drink our coffee in an authentic spot right in the middle of the region.
-
ON THE WAY
Campell, the first village
Where the valley narrows and the climbing starts. Water fountain on the corner, worth filling up.
-
ON THE WAY
The terraces of Fleix
Stone walls stacked up the mountainside, built by hand and still standing. We stop for photographs.
-
THE HIGHEST VILLAGE
Benimaurell
The end of the climb and the widest view of the day, with the whole valley below you.
-
LUNCH
Lunch in the valley at Benimaurell
We sit down where the terrace looks straight out over the valley. No hurry, this is the part of the day nobody wants to cut short.
-
THE WAY BACK
Back to Monte Pego by way of Pego
We ride part of the same road back down the valley, then turn off towards Pego and come home from there, with the mountains you have just ridden standing behind you.
Hover a stop to find it on the map. The line is indicative.
Before you ask
Do I need experience?
No. If you can ride a bicycle you can ride our Vespas. We start with a short practice round on a quiet road until you feel at home.
Is it safe?
We ride small roads with little traffic, never more than five scooters, and your guide is on the intercom the whole way. All Vespas are new, insured and serviced weekly.
Do I have to change gears?
No. Our Vespas are fully automatic. Turn the throttle and go.
What happens if it rains?
We move your day to another date, or we refund you in full. Riding in the rain is not the experience we want to give you.
